The Healing Words
of
Jesus the Christ

The Call and Challenge of the Living Christ

(1)
The Word was made flesh and dwells among you.

From his fullness we have ALL received, and grace upon grace.

I am the root and offspring of David and of the bright and morning star.

I am come to bring fire upon the Earth.

Whoever is near me is near the fire, and whoever is far from me
is far from the Kingdom.

I have cast fire upon the world, and I guard the Earth
until it is ablaze with the Light.

I have come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.

I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

I have compassion on the multitude(s),... and I am come
to minister and to give my life, and break many free into the living God.

The words I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.

I will say things that have been kept hidden
from the foundation of the world.

My words shall not pass away....Heaven and Earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away....
Everyone who belongs to the truth hears my voice.

You have come from the Light,
where the Light has originated through itself.

Become wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Be careful that nobody deceives you....
And if anyone says to you..., “Look! here is the Messiah!”
Or, “Look! There s/he is!” do not believe it
False Messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce signs
and omens, to lead you astray, if possible....
But be alert!
I have already told you everything.

Don’t give holy things to dogs, and don’t throw your pearls
before pigs, or they may trample them underfoot and turn
and attack you.

A prophet (prophetess) has no honor in (their) home territory;
no physician or healer heals those who know him/her.

The foxes have their holes, and the birds of the air
have their nests;

but the Son of man has no place to lay his head and to rest....

Become passers-by (wanderers).

As the Father has sent me, so do I send you....

Friend, go up higher....

Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost....

Rise, take up your bed and walk....

Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch....

(Take your) stand in the midst of the world....

Awake and pray that you do not enter into temptation....

Go! From now on, sin no more.

Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of?

Follow me.

The Intimate Companionship of the Living Christ

(2)
You see me; because I live, you shall live also....

You will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you....

The one who comes to me, I will in no way cast out.

Come unto me all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest and refreshment....

My yoke fits well, and my Lordship is gentle....
I am kind and gentle, humble in heart.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock:
if any person hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come into that one
and will feast with that person and that person with me.

...and the one who loves me shall be loved of my heavenly Father,
and I will love that person and manifest myself to that one.

If a person loves me, that one will keep my words:
and my heavenly Father will love such a person,
and we will come unto that one and make our abode with him/her.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
I am there in the midst of them....
Where there are two or one, I am with him.

God knows your hearts.

The person who is faithful in the little things,
will be faithful also in the big things.

If two make peace with each other in one house,
they shall say to the mountain, “Be moved,” and it shall be moved.

Unless you make what is on the right hand as what is on the left,
and what is on the left hand as what is on the right,
and what is above as what is below
and what is behind as what is before,
you will not recognize the Kingdom.

I am the true vine, and my heavenly Father is the vinedresser....
God prunes every branch that is not bearing fruit
in order to increase its yield.

My words are pruning you.

Abide in me and I in you....

The person who shares my life and whose life I share
will always be fruitful....

The person who does not share my life is like a branch
that breaks off and withers away.

Such a human being becomes like dry sticks
that persons pick up and use for firewood....

God is glorified as you become fruitful
and are being my disciples.

The Radiant Light and Joy of the Living Christ

(3)
I have come as Light into the world,
so that everyone who is committed to Me
will not remain in darkness....
that they may turn from darkness to light....

While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.

You are the LIGHT of the world....
Let your light so shine before people,
that they may see your good works
and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

Within a (person) of light there is light,
and the person lights the whole world.

The eye is the lamp of your body;
when your eye is clear,
your whole body is also full of light;
but when it is hurtful, your body also is full of darkness.

Walk while you have the Light,
so that darkness will not overtake you;
the one who walks in the darkness
does not know where he is going.
While you have the Light, commit yourself to the Light,
so that you may become the children of Light.

And now I come to you, and these things I speak in the world
that you might have my joy fulfilled in yourselves....

Ask in my name, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

We played a flute, but you would not dance!
We sang a dirge, but you wouldn’t weep or grieve.....

Congratulations to you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

And these things I have spoken to you,
that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Seek first the Kingdom of God and God’s righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you....
For with God, all things are possible.

There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed,
nothing covered up that shall not be uncovered.

It isn’t that a person has sinned, nor one’s parents:
but that the works of God should be made manifest
and visible in each individual.

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow;
they are not fatigued or wearied,
neither do they spin or rush around.
And yet I say to you, even King Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.
And so, if God clothes the grass of the field,
shall God not much more clothe you?

Not one sparrow shall fall to the ground
without your heavenly Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Do not be afraid, therefore,
you are of more value than many sparrows.

(Sing) a hymn.... Search the scriptures....
You are ignorant, if you do not know the scriptures
and the power of God....

But the Kingdom of the Father is spread upon the Earth,
and persons do not see it....
Come....All things are ready.
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look upon the fields,
for they are white and ready for harvest....

Enter into the joy of your Lord.

Your heart shall rejoice, and never let any person
take your joy from you.

The Work of the Living Christ

(4)
My food is to do the will of God that sent me, and to finish God’s work.

I must work the works of God that sent me.

My Father works continuously, and I work.

The Father that dwells in me, the same one does the works.
Believe that I’m in the Father, and the Father is in me.
At least, believe because of the works themselves.

Many good works I have shown you from my Father.

I have given you an example that you should DO
as I have done to you. If you know these things,
happy are you if you DO them.

Go and DO likewise.

Go and work in my vineyard....
The harvest is great, but the laborers are few.

If you bring forth that which is within yourselves,
that which you have will save you.
If you do not realize that within yourselves,
that which you do not have will destroy you.

Labor not for the food that perishes,
but labor for that food which endures forever.

It is my heavenly Father who gives you the true bread from Heaven.
The bread of God comes in from Heaven
and gives life to the world.

I am the bread of life; the person who comes to me
shall never hunger,
and the one who is committed to me shall never thirst.

And God shall render to every person according to the person’s acts.

One sows, and another reaps,
that both the one who sows and the one who reaps
may rejoice together.

No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel,
nor does he put it in a hidden place, but he sets it on a lamp stand,
so that all who come in and go out may see its light.

You shall know persons by their fruits.

Much will be asked from the one who has been given much;
and the more a person is trusted, the more others will expect.

No person, having put his/her hand to the plough, and looking back,
is fit or useful for the kingdom of God.

The only superior among you is the one who serves others.

Persons who promote themselves will be humbled,
and everyone who learns to be humble (teachable) will find promotion.

I know your works, your labor and your patient endurance.

Well done, good and faithful server: you have been faithful
over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.

The one who commits his life to me, the works that I do
shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father.

Therefore, all things that you would have persons do to you,
do even so to them. For this is the Law and the prophets....
Treat people the way you want them to treat you....
We receive the due reward of our deeds.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying, “Master, who did sin,
this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?”
And Jesus answered, “It isn’t whether this man sinned, or his parents:
but that the works of God should be made manifest in him
(i.e., make the most of what you have and who you are for the Good).”

The Unpredictable Journey of the Living Christ

(5)
Behold, I make all things new.

Like the wind, the spirit blows every which way:
you hear the sound it makes, but you can’t tell
where it’s coming from or where it’s headed.
That’s how it is with everyone reborn of the Spirit.

The foxes have their holes, and the birds of the air have their nests;
but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head and to rest....
Come and follow me, and I will teach you how to catch persons for God....
If you become my disciples and hear my words,
these very stones will minister to you.

Don’t worry ahead of time about what you will say,
neither premeditate: but whatever words will be given to you
when the time arrives, speak them,
for it is not actually you that speaks, but the Holy Spirit.

I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries
shall not be able to gainsay or resist.

I will give you what your eye has not seen,
and what your ear has not heard,
and what your hand has not touched,
and what has not arisen in the human heart.

New wine must be put in new bottles, and both are preserved.

Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give shall never thirst;
but the water that I shall give one shall be in that person a well of water
springing up into everlasting life....
The person who commits to me shall never thirst....
If anyone thirsts, let that person come to me and drink.
The one who believes in me...will be the inmost source of flowing rivers
of life-giving water....
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them
and shall lead them into living fountains of waters:
and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

I speak of the temple of (my) body....

What goes into your mouth will not defile you,
but what comes out of your mouth, that is what will defile you....
That which comes out of a person, that defiles the human being.

If any person will come after me,
let that one deny oneself and take up one’s cross daily, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
but whosoever will lose his life for my sake,
the same shall save it.
For what good is it for a person,
to acquire the whole world, and forfeit oneself?

The Caring Kindness of the Living Christ

(6)
I call you friends now, for all things that I have heard of my Father,
I have made known unto you.

You are they who have continued with me in my temptations.

Love your brother (and sister) as your own soul;
guard (them) as the pupil of your eye.
Never be glad except when you look at your brother and sister with love.

Whoever does not separate (“de-testify”) from the claims of one’s father
and one’s mother and one’s wife and children, brothers and sisters,
and even one’s own life, for My cause, will not be able to be
a disciple to me. And whoever does not love one’s father
and one’s mother for My cause will not be able to be
a disciple to me, for My mother... but (My) true (Mother) gave me the Life.

Let the little children come to me: never prevent their coming.
The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to little children like these.
I tell you, the person who will not accept the Kingdom of God
like a little child will never get into it at all.

Never despise (disdain) a single of these little ones,
for I tell you that they have Angels who see my heavenly Father’s face
continually in the heavens.

The person old in days will not hesitate to ask a little child
of seven days about the place of life,
and that person will live.

Whoever welcomes a child in my name welcomes me....
Whoever welcomes me, welcomes the One who sent me.

God (the Highest) is kind (even) to the unthankful and to the hurful.

By this shall all persons know that you are my disciples,
if you have love one for another.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep....
I am the good shepherd; I know my own, and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father,
and I lay down my life for the sheep.

I am the door of the sheep. Whoever enters by me will be safe,
and will go in and out and find pasture....
And other sheep (Angels) I have which are not of this fold:
them also I must lead, and they shall hear my voice,
and there will be one fold and one shepherd.

Feed my sheep; feed my lambs.

(John 15: 15; Luke 22: 28; Thomas 25; Gospel of the Hebrews;
Thomas 101 + Luke 14: 26; Luke 18: 16, 17; Matthew 18: 10;
Thomas 4; Matthew 18: 5; 10: 40;
Luke 6: 35; John 13: 35; 10: 11, 15, 7, 9; John 21: 16, 17, 15)

Union with God and the Living Christ

(7)
I and my heavenly Father are one.

I in them, and You in me, that they may be perfected
(completed, consummated in character) in one;
that the world may know that You, O God, have sent me
and love them as You love me.

The Kingdom of God is within you and all around you....
The Kingdom is within you and it is outside you....
The Kingdom of the Father is spread upon the Earth,
and persons do not see it.

Whoever seeks will find, and whoever knocks,
it will be opened for that person....
Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find.
When they find, they will be troubled.
When troubled, they will marvel, and will rule over the All....

Whoever knows the All but fails to know oneself, lacks everything....

Know what is in your sight, and what is hidden from you
will be revealed to you. For there is nothing hidden
which will not be made manifest....
When you know yourselves, then you will be known,
and you will understand that you are the children of the living Father.

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God,
believe also in me.... As the heavenly Father loves me,
so do I love you.

In my Father’s house are many rooms (dimensions of life):
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you....
Continue inb my love.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world gives, do I give unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.... Peace be unto you.

The sign of your Father in you...is a movement and a rest.

God is Spirit... worship God in spirit and in truth.
(God is not tied to place, and those who worship God
must worship Him as He truly is, without regard to place.)

Seek a place for yourself in repose....
Come away into a quiet place and rest a while.

And when you pray, enter into your own room (space)
shut the door behind you, and pray to your heavenly Father
( the hidden One) in privacy. Your heavenly Father who sees all the private areas of your life, will reward you openly.

And when you pray, you should not babble on, as the pagans do.
They imagine that the length of their prayers
will command attention. So don’t imitate them.
After all, your Father knows what you need before you ask.
Pray in this way:

Our Father in the heavens,
holy is Your name.
May Your kingdom come and Your will be done
in Earth as it is in the heavens.
Give us this day the bread we need,
and forgive us what we owe
as we also have forgiven those who may owe us.
Lead us (beyond) our temptation, and deliver us from evil.

(For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen. - not in biblical text)

Why do you call me good? There is none good but one,
that is, God....
The Father is greater than I.

Straight is the gate, and narrow is the way
which leads into life, and few are they who find it....
But is it not written (in the Scriptures: Psalms 82:6),
“I have said that you are gods”?

Be therefore complete and perfected in God,
even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

The Power and Righteousness of the Living Christ

(8)
If you will enter into life, keep the commandments.

Blessed are the humble, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Blessed are those who can grieve in their sorrow,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are those who are teachable and make no claims,
for the Earth will be theirs.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness,
for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are those who make peace,
for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness and goodness,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven,
and they have known the Father in truth.

Blessed are those who have heard the word of the Father
and have truly kept it.

Love your enemies, bless those who hate you,
do good to those who curse you, and pray for those
who spitefully use you and persecute you.

Love your enemies and do good and lend, without hope of return.

If anybody forces you to go a mile, do more and go two miles with him.

Make peace with your adversary quickly, while you have the opportunity.

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.
Don’t judge according to appearances.
You will be judged by the way you criticize others.

First, take the plank out of your own eye,
and then you can see clearly enough
to remove another person’s speck of dust.

Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Do not lie, and do not do what you hate,
because all things are disclosed before Heaven.

Why do you call me, “Lord, Lord,” and do not do what I say?...
Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.

...false prophets will appear and produce signs and omens
to lead you astray....the kindom of Heaven suffers violence
and the violent take it by force....
Everyone who kills you thinks that he is offering service to God.
These things they do because they have NOT known the Father or Me....
Put back your sword into its proper place.
All who take up the sword will perish by the sword....
Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter
into the Kingdom of Heaven....
So, then, you will know them by their fruits.

Freely you have received; freely give....
Whenever you give..., do not blow a trumpet before you.

Give and it will be given unto you:
good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over
will persons give into your lap, for however you give out to others,
in like manner will persons deal with you.

Give to the person who asks of you,
and don’t turn away from someone who wants to borrow from you.

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.

A good person out of the good treaaure of the heart
brings forth good things.

For wherever your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Seek for the treasure which does not fail, which endures,
there where no moth comes near to devour
and where no worm destroys.

A slave cannot serve two masters, otherwise that slave
will honor the one and offend the other....
An old patch is not sewn onto a new garment,
since it would create a tear.

The one who denies me before persons
shall be denied before the Angels of God....
But now they have both seen and hated me and my Father.
They hated me without a cause.

And you shall be betrayed, both by parents and brothers and sisters,
and family and friends..., and you shall be hated by persons for
my name’s sake. But not a hair on your head will perish.
In your patience, possess your soul.

(Matthew 19: 17; 5: 3-10 + Thomas 69a; Thomas 79;
Luke 6: 27, 28, 35; Matthew 5: 41, 25; 7: 1, 24, 2; 7: 5;

Mark 13: 22, 23; Matthew 26: 52; 7: 21, 20, 16;

The Inclusive Love of the Living Christ

(9)
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your strength,
and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.

A new commandment I give unto you,
that you love one another;
as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

By this shall all persons know that you are my disciples,
if you have love one to another.

Be merciful, just as your heavenly Father is merciful.

God forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.

I am among you as the one who serves.

God has sent me to heal the broken-hearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind,
and to set at liberty them that are bruised.

I am come to seek out and save that which was lost.

For I was hungry, and you gave me food.
I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink.
I was a stranger, and you took me in.
I was naked, and you clothed me.
I was sick, and you visited me.
I was in prison, and you came to see me.

Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these,
my brothers and sisters, you have done it unto me.

To whom little is forgiven, the same one loves little.

Many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first.

The one who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Nobody has greater love than this,
to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Forgive the dead in order to bury the dead.

It is not what I want or intend, but what God wills.

I have glorified God on Earth;
I have finished the work that God gave me to do.

I commit my spirit into Your hands, O God, and into Your keeping.

Come, take up the cross and follow me....
If you love me, keep my commandments....
Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

And I will pray to the heavenly Father,
who will give you another Comforter to abide with you forever.

The Angels and the prophets will come to you,
and they will give you what is yours.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

When you make the two one,
and when you make the inner as the outer
and the outer as the inner
and the above as the below,
and when you make the male and female into a single unity,...
then shall you enter the Kingdom.

The Abiding, Luminous Presence of the Living Christ

(10)
I am the Light of the world: the one who follows me
shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.

I am the Resurrection and the life.
The person who commits to me and follows me will live
even though s/he dies,
and anyone who is alive and believes in me will never die at all.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last,
the beginning and the end.
I am the living one.
I was dead and see.
I am alive for evermore.

In the world you shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.

I am the way, the truth and the life:
no person comes to the heavenly Father
except by (through) me.

And I,...lifted up from the Earth, will draw ALL persons to me.

Cleave a piece of wood, I am there;
lift up the stone, and you will find me there.

I am always with you, even to the end of the Age.

Whoever is near to me is near to the fire,
and whoever is far from me is far from the Kingdom.

You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right,
for that is who I am.

My teaching is not mine, but God’s who sent me.

All power in Heaven and Earth is given to me.

To you it has been given to know the secrets
of the Kingdom of Heaven.

I will tell my mysteries to those who are worthy of my mysteries.

They know not Him that sent me.
If I had not come and spoken unto them,
they would not have any sense of sin,
but now they have no clothing (cover or excuse) for their error (sin).

I assure you that while Heaven and Earth last,
the Law (of Karma) will not lose a single dot or iota
until its purpose is complete.

The person who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the Temple
of my God, and s/he will go no more out.

To the person who overcomes, I will give that one
some of the hidden manna to eat,
and I will give the person a white stone,
and in the white stone is written a new name
that nobody knows except the one who receives it.

And I will give (you) the morning star.

I know your works....
Neither do I condemn you....Go and sin no more.

And now I come to You;
and these things I speak in the world,
that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves....
Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth....
That they ALL may be ONE;
as You, Father, are in me, and I in Thee,
that they also may be ONE in us.... I in them, and Thou in me,
that they may be made perfect in ONE;
and that the world may know that You have sent me,
and have loved them as You have loved me.

Behold, I have set before you an open door,
which nobody is able to shut.
