The Way of Jesus the Christ
The Way of the Lord Jesus Christ
offers each individual
a practical and creative approach to
mastering life on earth.
The Christ offers a spiritual
pathway of complete union with God,
the loving Creator, Sustainer and
Transformer of all life.
The Christ sees every living being
as a unique creation of God.
Each of us is born with capacities
to express God's glory in its fullness.
Each of us is potentially a
beautiful instrument of God,
valuable and important in the Great
Plan.
ALL are chosen; none is favored.
Each of us is here to be a blessing.
From Jesus Christ's teachings in the
Gospels and other scriptures,
we can identify at least SEVEN basic
ingredients for living a joyful and fulfilling life.
By practicing these seven areas
daily,
your life and relationships will
become enriched and transformed.
"Launch out into the depths and let
down your nets for a catch." (Luke 5:4)
DAILY REMEMBRANCE OF GOD
Begin each day by connecting with
God, the loving Creator of all life.
Before you get out of bed, verbalize
your love for God first.
Say,"O God of all Goodness, I love
You with all my heart, mind, soul and strength."
Remember, your life, which is
forever, is a gift from the one Source of all Goodness.
Awaken to the Spirit of God within
you.
Express gratitude and respect for
every person and every life.
In every challenge and experience,
in your choices you are so deeply
guided, blessed, valued and upheld
in the Heart of God. Receive
inspiration; listen carefully and decide wisely.
Practice instant forgiveness in all
your relationships.
AFFIRMATION: I live my life
in the beauty of Holiness; I am blessed
and prospered in God's infinite
Love.
I keep
close and connected to the loving Spirit of God,
abiding within me and all
around me.
SCRIPTURE: "Worship the Lord
in the beauty of Holiness." (1 Chronicles 16:29)
WORKS
You and each person have a unique
calling: a special place in God's creation.
Your deeds identify you. Let all
your actions and your work glorify God.
Labor with love, produce good
fruits, run your race with joy,
and complete your calling.
AFFIRMATION: In all my jobs
I will glorify God on earth;...
I value excellence in my tasks,
and through my work I express my
true vocation;
I aim to complete all that I have
come to do this lifetime.
SCRIPTURE: "I have glorified
God on Earth; I have completed the calling
that God has given me to do."
(John 17: 4)
IMPROVEMENT OF CHARACTER
Deepen your connection with God
through your integrity, truthfulness
and reliable character.
Aim for health and wholeness in all
your relationships.
Be true to your highest self.
AFFIRMATION: In all my
relationships I am dependable and fair;
I increase my own well being by
treating all others
honestly, generously and
unselfishly.
SCRIPTURE: "If you bring
forth what is within yourselves,
that which you have will save
you....Be therefore, complete and whole,
even as your heavenly Father is
perfect." (Thomas 70; Matthew 5: 48)
"One sows, and another reaps,
that both the one who sows and the
one who reaps
may rejoice together." (John 4:
37, 36)
SPIRITUAL STUDY AND CONTINUOUS
LEARNING
Read and study the world's great
spiritual teachings.
Stay connected to reliable spiritual
teachers and resources;
avoid glamour and phony behaviors.
Watch your motivation. Be true to
your aspirations.
Keep learning from healthy groups,
classes and workshops.
Keep informed; be flexible as you
encounter new ideas.
Test the truth of what and whom you
observe.
Always center your learning in the
Heart of God.
AFFIRMATION: I will overcome
fear, ignorance, denial and intolerance
with deeper study and learning. I
keep my mind alert and receptive
to new ideas and new possibilities.

make your music !
AFFIRMATION: I sing my song
and express joy through my creativity.

LOVE AND CARING SERVICE
Giving and receiving always go
together;
magnetize greater vitality and
supply
as you reach out to serve and care
for others.
In the giving and sharing of
yourself in service,
you enrich yourself and others.
Outreaching love IS its own reward;
your life opens through your love
and sharing.
To touch another life through
unselfish giving
is one of life's greatest joys.
AFFIRMATION: With a generous
heart, I delight in loving, caring
and serving; I express caring
and kindness to all whom I meet.
SCRIPTURE: "I am among you
as the one who serves." (Luke 22: 27)
PRAYER AND REFLECTION
Take some time each day
to come apart into a quiet place and
rest a while.
Reflect on the happenings in your
life.
In the silence savor your
life and daily experiences.
Slow down; simplify !
Discover meaning in each moment;
nothing is trivial or unimportant.
Remember the Company of Heaven -
all those who visibly and invisibly
uphold you
through all your days on Earth and
wherever you are.
AFFIRMATION: Prayerfully, I
give thanks for the richness of my life.
I appreciate all those lives,
visible and invisible,
who are loving me and caring for me,
guiding and sustaining me,
helping me to be the fullest
expression of who I am in God.
